The Health Centre's Primary Health Care is provided by Theresa Walters, Nurse Practitioner, and Lyndsay Lazzarotto, Nurse Practitioner. The Health Centre also provides Foot Care and Public Health Immunization Clinics. Click on the Services page for more information and how to book an appointment.

The Community Health Centre provides primary health care for people of all ages and families in the communities of the South Shuswap. Those with chronic diseases, people with mental health and addiction issues as well as those without a primary health care provider have access to primary health care right in the community. People who are currently attached to a physician are encouraged to continue with their health care provider. However, if you are looking for a new provider, call to inquire about how to become a patient.
Notice of AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the Sorrento and Area Community Health Centre Society, operators of the Sorrento and Area Community Health Centre, will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 4:30 PM, at Sorrento Community Hall, 1150 Passchendaele Road, Sorrento BC. The meeting is open to the public and welcome to attend. You will hear about what is happening at the Health Centre and how you can become involved if you wish to do so.
